With inflation kicking our butts, it’s almost impossible not to feel financially squeezed. When I find myself lying awake at night worrying about my bank account, I turn to this delicious ritual bath to help wash away my worries.
This bath not only promotes a more positive mindset but also provides the following health benefits from soaking in milk and honey:
Softens, smoothes, and moisturizes skin - The milk proteins, fats, vitamins plus honey sugars and humectants hydrate and nourish
Soothes irritated, inflamed skin - The anti-inflammatory compounds may calm conditions like eczema, sunburns, rashes
Aids wound healing - Antibacterial properties, especially of medical grade honey, may support tissue and burn recovery
Fights bacteria and infections - Honey's antibacterial qualities combat bacteria on the skin to improve conditions like acne
Nutrients rejuvenate skin - Milk vitamins & minerals paired with compounds in honey are nourishing
Natural exfoliator - Lactic acid in milk gently loosens dead skin cells
You can perform this bath ritual anytime, but for an extra boost, I recommend doing it on a new moon.
Here’s what you’ll need:
A clean bathroom and tub
2 cups whole milk
½ cup honey
Bowl for mixing
White candle (I use multiple white candles and place them around the bathroom for extra drama)
Cleansing Money Honey and Milk Ritual Bath
Fill the bathtub with your preferred temperature of water
Light your white candle.
While the tub fills, mix the honey and milk in a large bowl. As you’re mixing, imagine a bright light emanating from your heart. Focus on your breathing. Visualize the white light traveling down your arms, through your hands, and into the honey and milk mixture.
Once the tub is filled, slowly spoon the mixture in. Mix with your hands to disperse the honey and milk throughout the bath.
As you sink into the bath, envision all your money problems melting away. Rest in the bath for at least 20 minutes. Take this time to recenter and think about recent financial wins and what you can do to improve them in the future.
Once done, blow out the candle, thank your god or goddess, and dry off.
